Sadia is an associate in the commercial litigation team. Sadia focuses her practice on high value, complex commercial disputes and multi-jurisdictional fraud claims often involving asset freezing orders.
- Representing multinational pharmaceutical company in a fraud claim which involves breaches of multiple contractual warranties and fiduciary duties, breaches of competition law warranty claims in related proceedings and also obtaining freezing injunctions over assets worth hundreds of millions.
- Advising a client involved in the proceedings brought by the Trustee in Bankruptcy of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC under the Cross-Border Insolvency Regulations 2006.
- Acting for Kuwaiti investors in relation to a substantial fraud concerning high value property development projects and successfully obtaining a worldwide freezing order and Bankers Trust order.
Sadia studied Law at the University of Bedfordshire, graduating in 2014. She completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in London, which she passed with Distinction.
Sadia qualified and joined Byrne and Partners in April 2018 after completing her training contract at a boutique employment law firm where she gained experience in variety of contentious and non-contentious matters.
Sadia is a member of the Young Fraud Lawyers Association.
