Andrew joined the civil litigation team as a paralegal in November 2015 and has gained experience across the civil team’s core practice areas of civil fraud and commercial litigation. He has a particular interest and expertise in cross-border civil and commercial disputes involving complex issues of jurisdiction and applicable law.
Andrew read law at Oxford University before going on to Kings College London where he was awarded a distinction in the Master of Laws. He was called to the Bar at Middle Temple in 2014.
Prior to joining Byrne and Partners, Andrew was a researcher at the British Institute of International and Comparative law focussing on comparative and private international law. He is also the assistant editor of Dickinson and Lein (eds.) The Brussels I Regulation Recast.
Alongside his work at Byrne and Partners, Andrew is a visiting lecturer at Queen Mary, University of London where he regularly gives lectures and seminars on private international law and cross border dispute resolution.
